Making Hard Conversations Easier
Practice Details
My practice focuses on supporting couples, families, friends, partners, and/or those in business relationships, to collaboratively resolve conflict through productive, facilitated conversations. We help support spouses, adult siblings, parents, grandparents, and/or other extended family members more productively address topics of concern or conflict among them. Topics frequently addressed in mediation include:
* Divorce
* Post-divorce concerns, including co-parenting
* Parent/teen conflicts
* Marital conflicts
* Wills, estates and trusts
* Care planning and caregiving
* Selecting or changing who will serve as a health care agent or attorney in fact (power of attorney)
* Family roles and responsibilities
* Communication
* End of of life planning
* Distribution of family heirlooms or collectibles
* Residential options for ill or aging family members
* Small family business planning and/or disputes
* Cohabitation
I also offer mediation of non-family disputes involving small businesses, neighbors, friends, landlords and tenants, or others experiencing conflict which they wish to resolve privately, collaboratively, confidentially, and in a non-adversarial setting.
