At the Law Office of Kristin G. Sherman PC, we specialize in mediating divorce and family law related matters, as well as representing individuals with their family law needs. Attorney Sherman has extensive experience and training in both mediation and family law litigation, and has worked throughout the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts, handling both contested and uncontested divorce matters, custody disputes, paternity and support actions, modifications, removal petitions, second parent adoptions, and restraining orders. Attorney Sherman also has extensive experience in the juvenile courts and matters involving the Department of Children and Families.

Degrees and Experience

BS in Communications with an English minor from Florida State University. JD from Suffolk University, cum laude.

Attorney Sherman started her career as a bar advocate for the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services in the District and Juvenile Courts before becoming an attorney on the trial panel for the Children and Family Law Program, where she represented children and families in state intervention cases and was appointed to serve as guardian ad litem and educational advocate in the Juvenile Courts.

Attorney Sherman joined Turco Legal in 2014 as a family and divorce lawyer and mediator. During her time at Turco Legal, Attorney Sherman became a managing partner and head of the mediation and training departments before leaving to open her solo practice, the Law Office of Kristin G. Sherman, PC.

Attorney Sherman specializes in mediation, divorce, modification, custody disputes, second parent adoption, and all things family law.

Clients pay a reasonable initial retainer and then are billed hourly with flexible payment options.
