Mediate Don't Litigate
I have been a practicing family law attorney for 26 years and for the last 21 years I have also been mediating the same disputes as a trained divorce and post divorce conflict mediator. Most of my mediation practice is divorce mediation, modifications and paternity matters but I am also trained as a marital mediator and have had some parties come to my office in an effort to preserve the marriage through mediation. I have experience with same-sex divorce mediation, co-habitation dissolution and modification mediation.

Degrees and Experience
I am a graduate of Cornell University, 1986 and Vermont Law School, 1992.
I received quality training through Divorce Mediation Training Associates in 1998.
I have been mediating martial and paternity disputes since 1998 and continue to also provide litigation services for clients who decide to hire me as a litigator not a mediator so I am up to date on what happens in Court when parties can not come to a fair and reasonable resolution through negotiations.
I am a member of the Worcester County Bar Association (former member of the Executive Committee), former co-chair of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Section, member of the Family Law Section and the Membership Committee. I am a member of the Central Massachusetts Women's Bar Association and the MetroWest Women's Bar Association. I am a member of the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts. I am the Secretary of the Clinton Bar Association.
I have provided mediation services for parties residing in various counties in Massachusetts, but only when the parties have been willing to come to my Worcester office for mediation sessions or to Westborough, where I have access to a conference room. I also offer virtual mediation services through zoom and can accommodate parties who live in all counties, or who want evening and weekend appointments, so long as they are willing to do virtual mediation through zoom.
I charge $400.00 for each hour spent mediating. The number of mediation sessions varies based on the amount of conflict and the needs of the parties to discuss and work through issues of concern. I also charge a flat fee of $1,000.00 which is paid prior to the drafting of the Separation Agreement and includes several revisions to the Agreement. A second flat fee of $1,000.00 is charged at the final appointment when we spend time talking about what happens when you go to Court for your hearing and this flat fee also covers the cost of the preparation of the other paperwork necessary for filing. Your responsibilities include obtaining a certified copy of your marriage certificate, completing the court form financial statements and, if applicable, attending the parenting education class and paying the filing fee to the Court.
