I have a child centered practice, work with LGBTQ+ couples, and teach the Parent Education class required by the state of MA.
As an Adult Child of Divorce, I have a long-time experience with divorce. In my private practice as a Divorce and Family Mediator I use my experience to create a child-centered practice at A Better Way: Divorce Mediation, LLC. I understand the stress the separation process can bring to your family and have the ability to help you listen and hear each other in order to reach a compromise. I am trained as a Mediator and also a Collaborative Coach.
I've been involved in the Boston community for over 25 years and can also mediate LGBTQ+ divorces, domestic partnership separations, in-law disputes, child-support, and parenting plans.
I am a court-approved facilitator for the required parenting classes in MA and teach for The Divorce Center. I am the creator of “Honor thy Children; Jewish Parenting through a Divorced Lens- a 4 part parenting workshop. My book “Speaking Out; Voices of Adult Children of Divorce” is a resource for families in any stage of divorce. It reached #1 in 3 parenting categories and is available on Amazon.com

Every divorce is different and each couple has a unique circumstance. The “right” number of mediation meetings and their duration and frequency are determined by the actual time each couple needs to work out mutually satisfactory arrangements of their post-marital lives. I will meet with you in sixty-ninety minute sessions. The average couple with two children and a house can take between 6-10 sessions.
I'm provide a free 30-45 minute consultation to provide information about mediation and my practice. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
