Fee Information
At Comeiro Mediation we offer a flat fee. Yes, there are mediators that charge an hourly rate but we strongly believe a flat fee is the better way.
Here's why:
With an hourly rate clients may avoid communicating with their mediator because they don't want to be billed for the time.
Hourly billing creates tension between clients and mediators when the client feels they have been over-billed for something, or if they are billed for something that didn't help their divorce.
Time tracking and invoicing for hourly services takes time. Sending an email that takes 3 minutes takes another 2-3 minutes to record in a time-tracking system or even write down.
With a flat rate we don't have to deal with client billing disputes over surprise invoices.
We work as a team. At Comeiro Mediation we work with attorneys to transcribe your final agreement. The attorney fees are incorporated into the flat rate. * The Attorney does not represent you. They are transcribing your agreement.
With a flat rate you do not have to worry about random questions you may have. Just call or text. You will not be charged for that time.
