Degrees and Experience
Attorney Russell R. Weddell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. Attorney Weddell has successfully tried and argued multiple family law matters involving asset division, child custody and support, spousal support and paternity issues, among others. He is also a certified mediator and conciliator. In addition, over the course of his career, Attorney Weddell has tried numerous civil and criminal cases, and has briefed and argued multiple appeals before the highest appellate courts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, including five cases of first impression that established precedent or redefined existing case law.
